Which price ranges are available?
Senkow Builders serves a variety of price ranges and budgets, depending on the specifications, design, and desires of each customer.
How much do you charge per square foot?
Senkow Builders doesn't price their homes using a "cost/square foot unit price". The cost to build each home is based solely on its design and specifications. The cost per square foot is arrived at AFTER dividing the total cost of the home by the total (finished) square footage.
What is the "Base Price" and what's included?
The Base Price is the amount it would cost to build the complete home (including garage, front porch, & basement per plan). We consider these specifications to be a starting point costing platform for each home. Our customers are free to delete, add, or change the specifications to suit their needs and desires. Therefore, each home is priced according to its Base Price, and any additions/deletions/changes the customer wishes to make to the Base Price Specifications.

How much flexibility in specifications does Senkow Builders offer?
We allow unlimited flexibility for each customer to modify the specifications of their new home. You are going to be living in this home for many years to come and we want you to be happy living there. We will not however compromise on the quality of the materials used in building your home.
Can you build from a plan that I have, or do I have to select one of yours?
Senkow Builders can build from any plan you wish.
Can I do some of the work?
Yes, Senkow Builders understands you may want to do some of the work and we will help you plan the items you wish to perform.

Can you help me secure financial assistance to build?
Yes, we can recommend financial institutions that are well-versed in construction financing to suit your needs and save you money.
How can I build my new home while I have a house to sell?
Many customers obtain a construction mortgage to build their new home while their current home is still on the market. Upon completion of the new home, the construction mortgage is typically converted into the permanent mortgage - without another mortgage closing.
Should I sell my house before build?
That depends on each customer's individual needs. Many will try to time the selling date of their existing home to coincide with the move in date of their new home. To assist each customer with these decisions, Senkow Builders can provide a schedule for the construction of their new home. This enables our customers the opportunity to monitor the progress of their new home ... each step of the way!

Why does Senkow Builders have open houses when the home is not for sale?
Even though most of the homes we build are custom-built for a particular customer, we are proud to display our workmanship and are pleased to provide you with an opportunity to get ideas on designs and new products by showing the home prior to our customers moving in.
Can I get pricing information at these open houses?
Yes you can. At our open house, you will be given a floor plan that includes pricing of the home - exactly as you see it. If you like the design of the home, but not all the options, finishes or amenities, we can remove those items from the price, showing you how the total price was arrived at!
What if the open house you're showing isn't what I'm looking for; is it still worth it for me to go? Why?
Most people who visit an open house are either looking for a different style or size home, with different amenities, or they're just not sure and they need someone to talk to about their plans, needs and ideas. They enjoy coming to our open house because they can view the quality, workmanship, selections, pricing, and much more, all without having any pressure to buy the home because it's already sold!

Can you help me find a suitable building lot?
Yes. We will help you evaluate your potential site by using existing records/data and visiting the lot in order to help you develop a reasonable sitework budget. Senkow Builders also has an in-house, licensed realtor who can assist you in finding the best possible lot that suits your goals.
If I already own a building lot, will Senkow Builders build a new home for me on it?
Yes. We will also help you develop a realistic sitework budget after we evaluate your actual sitework and home needs.
