What makes Senkow Builders different from the rest of the builders available?
We use the latest in industry products starting with the AdvanTech sub-floor which offers a 50 year limited warranty. We also use the new AdvanTech Zip system. The Zip system offers less hassles, no rework and an instant rough dry-in and is available for both the roof and wall sheathing and offers a 30 year limited warranty.

We use kiln dried Doug Fir for our floor joists, studs, and rafters. All walls between bedrooms, wet areas, staircases, and between floors are insulated for silence. Our sheet-rock is screwed not nailed to studs and joists to ensure that there are no nail pops or sags. Our sheet-rock is paperless there by ensuring that you will never have a mold or mildew problem. We use Benjamin Moore paints on walls, ceilings and trim.

All cabinets are Kraftmaid, a nationally known and recognized name in the cabinet industry. Senkow Builders prefers to use Certainteed roofing and siding products and have completed their required training to be Certified as Master Roofers and Master Siders.

What types of homes does Senkow Builders build?
Senkow Builders builds custom homes that vary in style and size depending on each client's particular needs: Capes, Ranches, Traditional's, Federals, Contemporaries, Farmhouses and 1, 1-1/2, 2 & 3-Story homes ... Any style you wish, really.

Are these modular or stick-built homes?
Senkow Builders takes pride in building custom, stick-built homes with care and concern for each of our clients.

Do you build modular or panelized homes?
Yes we can! Senkow Builders has access to several nationally known and recognized modular home and panelized home companies.

How long will it take to build my new home?
The construction process typically takes 6 to 8 months to complete, depending on the home's size and complexity.

Can you build in the winter?
Yes, we build homes year round and perform the necessary precautions for inclement weather.

Do I need to purchase & provide Senkow Builders with a set of blue prints?
We have no design services on site, but we have several reputable designers that we can refer you to that will help you design a full set of plans for your home that meet your local building requirements. We also have access to numerous designs from such designers as Design Basics and W. C. Farmer. If you already have a set of plans, we can have them modified to suit your needs.

How long have your subcontractors worked for Senkow Builders?
We are happy to say, that all of our subcontractors have been with us for over 10 years. This guarantees us the same high level of performance no matter what the project.
